Great for Kayak & Surfski rack
I had installed a pair of racks from Tesloid on my wife's model Y and they looked & worked great! My wife suggested I get my own racks for carrying my flat water racing Kayak & Surfski so she could use her car when she wanted. So I did. The rack location varied greatly from where the Y racks were located and so the instructions confused me for a few minutes until I looked at the installed pics. The racks mount more forward on the 3 than the Y. Went quickly after that and worked very well. I used them for 5 days, then traded the M3P in for 23' Plaid for wife and now I can use the Y again since it's now mine - LOL.

Easy install/look great/solid.
Easy to put on, super solid, and look really good. Torque wrench for tightening is key in order to avoid the common complaint of cracking your roof glass. Carrying mountain bikes on top of the car with zero concern.
