Model 3 Window Visors – Rain & Wind

While the box was delivered in a mangled condition, the product was undamaged. I did a fit check initially, then proceeded with installation. The instructions could be better for those that have not installed auto window visors before. I was skeptical about the unpainted inner surface of the visors, but the fit check verified that it is not noticeable. Window clearance was good at about a half inch. The installation went well, and the visors perform their intended function quite well. They look really nice too, the matte black finish just happens to perfectly match the chrome delete I had done on the original chrome window trim. Adds a nice new dimension to the car while providing the valuable function of keeping the rain out with windows cracked open a bit.

Watch the you tube for easy install instructions. I purchased to reduce wind noise ant highway speeds and it did the trick. The noise was reduced by probably 2/3. High quality product that works!

I have tried a few different types of vent shades, and have found none to be as good looking as this companies. Their product is solid sound and very nice looking pretty aerodynamic and goes with the car. Well, it does improve the ability to not have the driver side wiper throw water inside of the car at the slightest little bit so it does work as intended with the vent option of the Tesla windows. The only downside is there is a bit of increased wind noise at freeway speeds, but it wouldn’t stop me from ordering them. I would just turn up the music and jam. A little does not increase wind noise with the windows open.

The reason I gave t hese 4 stars instead of 5 is I originally got these for when I vent the car on hot days and it's raining. But if the car is not on completely flat ground, the guards don't stop rain from getting in the window.

Yes, the window visor does its job and looks great. 3M tape is holding well so far . My only minor complaint would be the back windows will scrap when opening the door at a regular pace. If I let the window drop first then continue opening the rear doors the window will clear the visor. I have tried to raise the visor further up on the door body trim but that did not do the trick. Think the cut of the rear trim may be slight off. But hey, I don’t use the backs seats much anyway. Road noise up a lil bit but that’s what happens when you add wind resistance. Alls good though!

When I got these it was more for rain and venting but when I drove down the road and the wind noise was cut down so much I fell in love with these things. Excellent product gone through about five car washes so far. Awesome. I would have only one suggestion. Have different colors than just flat black. Maybe smoked or gloss.

It completes the look I was going for, highly recommend. Plus, no rain getting in💪🏽

These do a great job with allowing one to keep their window cracked for fresh air while it's raining. The 3m strips included are stuck really well by the primer wipes and I suspect they'll hold up for a good while before needing some new tape. Install can be a little tricky to line up, but if you go slowly and be careful you're golden. (2019 Model 3)
