This optional icebag has a waterproof base and water-resistant zippers. It is detachable from the main bag for convenience. It is rated for a thin layer of ice lined to the bottom of the bag or for use with packaged ice.

Fits Highland perfectly
Bought this for a road trip and it’s fantastic. Fits like a glove in the highland frunk. Having double sided, one side insulated for drinks and ice packs and the other for snacks is super convenient. Nice strong handles to carry it out and use as a cooler on the beach.
I was concerned about how it would fair with the sun beating down on it for long hours but surprisingly kept all contents cool over a 12 hour drive in summer heat.
Highly recommended.

We used the detachable ice bag in our Model 3 for our 5 hour drive to Lubec. It performed well and at the end of our journey we carried up to our apartment. No leakage and all items were kept cool and the ice we added to the detachable bag was mostly still there. Well made, fits nicely in the Frunk, and well worth the price! R

Excellent for grocery shopping
My local Costco is 50 kms (30 miles) away, and I use this cooler, one side for frozen, one for dairy products. Keeps everything cold, has as much room as it could inside the frunk. I just leave in the frunk all the time, so if I suddenly realize I need to buy something, I'm ready. I have not used it for more than an hour or two, so I can't speak to its usability for camping, etc.
