How do I install the body kit?

Although it is possible to install yourself, it is recommended that the body kit is installed by a professional. The kit is mounted using both 3M tape and nscrews on the underside. All parts can be installed directly and do not require removal of existing body panels. The installation requires drilling of new holes to ensure kit is mounted securely and stays on for years to come.

How long does the installation take ?

The installation can take approximately 1 hour if you are experienced.

What is the material of the body kit?

The kit is made of automotive grade ABS.

Can you still access the tow hitch?

No, if you have the optional tow hitch package, the access is not supported by the diffuser. If you are towing your Model Y itself, the access to chassis is still available.

Can I buy individual parts from the body kit ?

No, this kit comes prepackaged. It cannot be split open for individual parts.

Is there any warranty?

The kit is inspected prior to shipping. There is a 1 year warranty on any manufacturing defects on all Tesloid products. We strive to provide excellent customer experience.
